THE 2012 SEASON

The Lindenwood Park Neighborhood Association Community Garden was established in late March of 2012.  Thanks to Gateway Greening, we began with 11 compost-filled raised beds, a three-bin compost system, 150 feet of hose, a fire hydrant adapter, and a corner flower bed full of perennials.  Members of Mount Tabor United Church of Christ donated flowering plants and garden members donated tools.  We were off to a great start.

Welcome to the Lindenwood Park Neighborhood!

The Lindenwood Park Neighborhood is defined by Arsenal and I-44 to the north, Watson and Chippewa to the south, Hampton on the east and the city limits to the west. Lindenwood Park is conveniently located to downtown, Clayton, Forest Park and its attractions, the Hill with its restaurants, and the Chippewa Ted Drewes frozen custard store. Even though Ted Drewes is officially located in another fine St. Louis neighborhood, you can walk across Chippewa, sit on the curb and enjoy eating your frozen custard in Lindenwood Park.
