Wellington Avenue Bridge over River Des Peres Reconstruction

The Wellington Avenue Bridge over River Des Peres will be closed for reconstruction on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 9:00 AM.  The Wellington Avenue Bridge is accessed by Wabash from the south and by Ellendale/McCausland from the north.  Work is scheduled to be completed in fourteen months.

Welcome to the Lindenwood Park Neighborhood!

The Lindenwood Park Neighborhood is defined by Arsenal and I-44 to the north, Watson and Chippewa to the south, Hampton on the east and the city limits to the west. Lindenwood Park is conveniently located to downtown, Clayton, Forest Park and its attractions, the Hill with its restaurants, and the Chippewa Ted Drewes frozen custard store. Even though Ted Drewes is officially located in another fine St. Louis neighborhood, you can walk across Chippewa, sit on the curb and enjoy eating your frozen custard in Lindenwood Park.

Monthly Event - Tweetup!

We have started a monthly Tweetup to introduce you to the restaurants in the Lindenwood Park Neighborhood. This is part of "Explore South City".
Our last Tweetup was atEl Paisano. Thanks to everyone who came out! We had a great time visiting with our friends and neighbors.
Come make new friends or meet old ones, and explore a restaurant that might be new to you, or an old favorite.
