Join the St. Louis Public Library’s Central Conversations Series to talk about Community Empowerment: Building Strength in STL. Take part in the conversation June 8 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Central Library, 1301 Olive Street.

Join our panelist of St. Louis residents as they discuss how to empower and strengthen our community. These residents build communities, rehab and repurpose buildings, plant neighborhood gardens and patrol our streets.

Panelist include:

Annette Bridges, Neighborhood Improvement Specialist for Ward 23 Matt Fernandez, community development specialist with Old North Restoration Group Mark Groth, blogger at St. Louis City Talk Jared Opsal, executive director of the Downtown Neighborhood Association.

The discussion will be led by Andrew Weil, Executive Director of Landmarks Association of St. Louis.
