Court Advocacy Training educates citizens regarding the court process and in particular how to write Impact Statements. Impact Statements can be submitted to the Circuit Attorney’s Office who, in turn, submits them to the presiding Judge,regarding crimes committed in your neighborhood. The Impact Statement is a powerful tool which allows citizens to inform Judges how crime affects their neighborhood.
Attendance at Court Advocacy Training is required for anyone wishing to submit an Impact Statement.
