The Lindenwood Park neighborhood is taking a stand against crime. With the recent increase in our area, the police being stretched thin due to 12-hour shifts and their focus on protests and social unrest, everyone is being encouraged to “turn on porch lights at night.”
Lighting is a known deterrent and it sends the message that we are watching. With maximum participation we can keep the criminals away. Also, being alert to suspicious persons and activity in our neighborhood, and reporting to police helps.
