Interesting Sustainability Tidbits:

  • Milkweeds and Monarchs on the Move– The National Weather Service noticed a strange cloud over St. Louis that they determined was an immense swarm of monarch butterflies!         Fall is a great time to plant a Milkweeds for Monarchs garden. Learn         more, such as how to start or register your garden on the City’s website.
  • Brightside Virtual Garden Tour- Lace up your virtual walking shoes and take a stroll through the newly-upgraded Brightside Demonstration Garden webpages. Now, you can learn about sustainable gardening and urban conservation practices from the comfort of your own home. Visit the virtual garden here.

As always, thank you for all you do to advance sustainability in the City of St. Louis. With kind regards, Catherine
