“Trestle Project” Public Open House

We are looking for your feedback and participation as we launch the Trestle project with a public open house this summer!

At the open house, we will showcase early renderings of project, which will transform the abandoned Iron Horse Trestle over Interstate 70, into an elevated rail park, putting St. Louis on a short list with cities like New York City and Paris, France, as one of the only cities in the world with such an attraction.

At The Trestle open house, we will highlight other similar projects, and seek feedback from you on various aspects of this sustainable redevelopment project.

The goal of the redevelopment project is to encourage future sustainable revitalization projects surrounding the Trestle, while connecting the region’s citizens to the Mississippi River and the Confluence Greenway, and linking a re-energized near north side neighborhood to downtown St. Louis and Illinois via the Riverfront Trail and McKinley Bridge bikeway.

Note: Attendees can use the parking lots behind 2624 14th Street and behind 2700 14th Street (both are just across the street from the venue).
